- In case of good weather conditions, the hike can also be done without bringing your hiking boots. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.
The hike starts in Gurnigel- Berghaus, which provides an incredible view on the mountain chain Gantrisch with its cliffs. After a short ascent you will have a great view on the mountain chain from Stockhorn to Ochsen and to Thunerseebecken. Hike further through mountain woods and slowly ascend around Selibüel to Gratweg, which leads down to saddle Seligbüel. Afterwards ascend to Schüpfeflue, the highest point of the trail. A beautiful panorama is waiting for you.
Now descend steeply to Süftenenegg and via Süftene slightly upwards till you reach the next lookout point. Fascinating view on hamlets of community Rüschegg. Afterwards hike up to pass Horbüel. Along the ridge to Hällstett alongside a forest and passed meadows.
Continuously you will be able to enjoy the great panorama, which makes this area unique. Descend steeply via Warmsite to the bus station Zollhaus.
