Hike from the bus station Innereriz /Säge towards the valley. Behind the holiday homes walk through the woods. There you will have a great view on the red shimmering moor meadows of the nature reserve Rotmoos, on Grüenenbergpassen and the pass Sichel to lake Thunersee.
The alpine road leads steeply upwards to Heimet Ober Breitwang. There you will have a great view on Honegg and through Eriz towards west. Follow a path underneath the blooming field Widderfeld and pass the basin of Hungerschwand. Blooming gentian and monkshood all over. Hike over the ridge and follow the alpine path to alp Wimmisalp.
Then through a avalanche zone and woods to the huts of Gmeinenwängen. Continuously ascending and descending you get through swampy area to hut Großenstein. From the slope at Lutschwändi you can enjoy a great view on the foothills of the alps.
Now start descending often via challenging trails via Jurten to Baumgarten. Right next to a hut you can see an impressive sycamore maple. Now enjoy the easier and relaxing hike through the valley alongside river Emme to Kemmeriboden Bad.
