Description

The Currywurst Museum is closed!

The museum in Berlin was one of the most extraordinary museums in all of Germany close to the Checkpoint Charlie. The initiator Martin Löwer supposedly got the idea for this museum after visiting a yams root museum in Jamaica. Three years later his idea became reality and the very first German Currywurst Museum was opened on the 15th of August 2009 in Berlin. Ten year later it was closed in december 2018.
