Weather on Iceland

In the east, the forenoon is mostly cloudy, refreshed with some occasional rain in the midday. Scattered showers are expected to give way to some clouds in the evening. Today's weather in the west is marked by some rain every now and then, reaching temperatures of about 7 °C. The snow line is situated at approximately 1000 above sea level. There is a gentle breeze blowing from the west.

Throughout the day, there might be a chance of showers in the north, south, west and east. The weather will be cloudy with a small amount of rain in the midday. In the evening, clouds and light rain will break and give way to some sunshine. Temperatures are not far from normal, but the breeze from the southwest keeps it from feeling as warm as it could if there were no wind.
