The Tulln Gardens

Tulln gardens are a perfect destination for the whole family. Spend an eventful day or just stroll around the gardens and relax. Explore the diversity and unique blaze of colours kept wonderfully by Tulln Gardens. To maintain the gardens the organisers solely use ecological products because a great emphasis is put on sustainability at Tulln Gardens. To explore this exclusive environment at its fullest visitors can stay one day or longer.

Attractions

Whilst adults may find comfort in the calmness of the place, children can let out their energy at the adventure and natur playground. This playground is equipped with a treehouse, a shipwreck and many other fun things to boost children's phantasy. Not only children but also adults that want to get more active can find many activites at Tulln Gardens. A great option for example is the 30 m high treetop walk or get out on the water with a canoe or paddleboat, 5 km of strech are available.

Take a break

However you will need some strengthening at one point and therefore Tulln Gardens offer the „Garten Picknick“ where you can buy a food basket filled with great supplies for a picnic outside. In addition there is a restaurant for everyone who prefers to eat inside, called „Die Gärtnerei“. Another great offer is „Der edle Walnussbaum“ which sells upmarket wines and guarantees a joyful winetasting for all wine experts.

How to get there

By public transport

Tulln is easy to reach by train. It is located between Vienna FJB-Krems/Gmünd and St. Pölten. For further information about the exact timetables please consult the austrian train company ÖBB. Once in Tulln you can take the so called „Postbus“ that leaves directly from the train station and gets you to „Schubertpark“. From there walk about 10 min through Auwald to get to Tulln Gardens. Busses do not run on sundays. Besides it is possible for larger groups to rent a „Postbus“ for the transportation from the train station to the gardens. You can also rent a bike „NextBike“ at the train station for only 1€ an hour or 8€ a day. Insofar you neither want to walk nor go by bus you can also call a taxi. S Since Tulln is located right at the river Danube it is furthermore possible to travel by ship.
