Spanning around 13,800 square meters, the indoor park offers all-weather fun with over 25 attractions, each thoughtfully themed around beloved characters like Vicky, Maya the Bee, Bumba, and the pop group K3. It’s a popular destination for families with children up to ten years old.
Varied attractions for little explorers
Whether fast-paced, splashy, or gentle – Plopsa Indoor Hasselt has the perfect attraction for every child. One of the highlights is the "Vicky The Ride" a kid-friendly roller coaster winding through rocks and caves. Brave riders can take the plunge in the free-fall lighthouse ride, while the colorful K3 swing carousel is always a crowd-pleaser.
Set sail on a pirate adventure with Piet Piraat in the "Stormy Sea", or climb, slide, and romp in Bumba’s Playground and Play Tree. A giant ball pit, bumper cars, water play zones, and various carousels and boat rides guarantee non-stop fun and shining eyes.
Plenty of outdoor fun
When the sun is shining, the large outdoor area offers six more attractions. Aspiring firefighters can grab the hose at the K3 fire game, while the K3 traffic park helps little ones learn road safety rules in a playful way. Adventurers can scale the snowy climbing hill or pedal their way into the air on the "Flying Bikes".
Lights, music, Bumba!
Daily shows with Maya the Bee and Bumba light up the stage and children’s faces. The colorful Bumba Festival – complete with a parade, music, and interactive fun – makes a visit to the park a truly magical experience.
Historical Information
Plopsa Indoor Hasselt opened its doors in December 2005 as Belgium’s first partially covered theme park. Built on the grounds of Park H in Hasselt – right next to today’s Trixxo Arena – the park marked an important milestone in the history of the Plopsa Group, the theme park division of Studio 100.
The Belgian media company invested around €12.5 million in the project, which originally spanned 10,800 square meters. In 2010, the outdoor area was expanded by an additional 5,000 square meters – bringing the park’s total area today to approximately 13,800 square meters of indoor and outdoor fun.
