Aqua-Salza thermal and wellness world Golling

A half-hour drive from Salzburg, the Aqua Salza in Golling offers bathing fun and relaxation for everyone. The facilities are divided into a bathing world, a sauna paradise and a wellness area.

Bathing world

The indoor area has a 25-metre swimming and multipurpose pool as well as numerous massage jets, floor bubbles and whirlpool loungers. Water play equipment is available for younger bathers in an extra children's area. Lastly, the Black Hole slide winds its way down into the depths of the bathing world.

In the bathing world, you have access to a three-season outdoor area via a swimming channel. The Golling mountains can be seen from here in a panoramic view. There is also a current channel where you can let yourself float. Massage jets, floor bubbles and whirlpool loungers in the pool provide relaxation. In summer, you can relax on the large sunbathing lawn in the greenery and get refreshments at the kiosk. There is also a self-service restaurant indoors to cater for your physical well-being.

Swimming and aqua courses are offered regularly at the leisure pool.

The sauna world in Golling offers a wide selection of saunas and steam baths. You can choose between the mountain sauna (85 degrees) and the earth sauna (75 degrees). There is also a classic Finnish sauna, the fire sauna (80 degrees). From here you have a unique panoramic view through the glass front. Stone pine saunas (85 degrees), where oils and extracts are infused, provide another special experience. An absolute sense of relaxation can be found in the 55 degree mental sauna. Body-shaped loungers and an integrated starry sky will make you dream.

Regular honey and salt rubs are offered in the large steam bath (55 degrees). These ensure internal and external cleansing. You will find about 98 percent humidity and 45 degrees of heat in the herbal steam bath. A soothing herbal fragrance completes this steam bath experience. The Regenstein sauna is special. In addition to offering a pleasant pine scent, it is a sauna and steam bath combined at 60 degrees.

A brine pool offers saline water for bathing and underwater music for soothing sounds as you float in the water. You can enjoy a beautiful view in the outdoor pool of the sauna world, which is heated all year round. In addition to the whirlpool, you can also take a dip in the 15-degree plunge pool after you have finished a sauna. There are several loungers and a sun terrace in the sauna world, as well as a sauna restaurant.

Access to the wellness area is only permitted to guests who have booked a treatment. Choose from massages, cosmetic treatments, or solaria. There are also steam baths, emperor's baths, and soft pack relaxation rooms in the wellness area. A range of massages is available, including aroma oil massages, Hawaiian massages, aroma candle massages, and hot stone massages.
