At Gabühel in Dienten, you can enjoy Austria's first swing park on a total of 600 square meters of space. In addition to the two waterfall swings, there will be four other swing attractions. With a combination of nature experience and adventure, the swing park in the Hochkönig region is an unforgettable experience amidst the mountain scenery. All swings face the Hochkönig and are freely accessible. The offer is rounded off by playground equipment for little ones and deckchairs that invite you to rest and relax.
As the facility can be reached comfortably by the Gabühel Gondola, the swing park is ideal for a family trip. If your stomach is growling after the adventure, you can eat at the nearby Steinbockalm or in the Gabühel hut. The newly built swing park complements the existing activities and attractions that can be combined on a family holiday in the Hochkönig region: for the adventurous, the summer toboggan run on the Biberg, for the youngest hikers Toni's Almspielplatz. The Mountain Cart offers an experience for the whole family.
How to get there
By car from Munich: Take the A8 towards Salzburg. Either take the A93 to Lofer or the A10 to Bischofshofen and Dienten. The Gabühelbahn valley station is your destination.
By public transport: The nearest train station is Saalfelden. After arriving in Saalfelden, you can take a taxi or bus to Dienten am Hochkönig.
The swing park is located at the mountain station of the Gabühelbahn and can only be reached by cable car or on foot.
