Located in Downtown Denver on the Auraria Campus, exactly where the brewery has always been, the Tivoli Brewing Company is the oldest operating brewery in Colorado. Selling beer since 1859, Tivoli grew into the largest beer producer west of the Missouri River.
Beer Travel: Flavors of Past and Present
Recreating original recipes over and over again, drinkers of these days are able to taste beers of both the 1800's and even the future, as the brewing company still creates their own unique recipes together with students of Denver's brewing program of the Metropolitan State University. This collaboration is a win-win situation as all the brewers-to-be get a chance to work hands-on together with passionate and experienced beer enthusiasts and Tivoli Brewing is able to continously check in to see what delicious beers they can offer their guests.
Craft Beer and Food Truck Fare
As Tivoli Brewing is convinced of a bond between food truck fare and craft beer, the Tivoli tap house offers more than 50 different beers and full-service dining. Chicken wings, Bavarian Pretzels, Fries, Grilled Sandwiches, Tacos, and Burgers will definitely allay your hunger.
Brewery Tours
If you are really into brews, you should join Tivoli Brewing for an informative tour of this historic brewery. Offered every Friday at 5 pm as well as Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm and 5 pm, the brewery tours last between 45 to 60 minutes. Spots in one of the tours limited to groups of 15 at a maximum are usually available day of, yet it is highly recommended to call the tap house and to reserve your place. You may also want to book a private group tour in case you bring a couple of beer-lover-friends.
How to get there
From Downtown
Tivoli Brewing is located at the intersection of Auraria Parkway & 9th Street, across the street from the Pepsi Center, west of downtown Denver. From Downtown take Speer Blvd North to Auraria Parkway, then turn left and go west to 9th Street.
From Denver International Airport
From Denver International Airport take Pena Blvd to I-70 West, before you take the I-25 South exit (#274) toward Colorado Springs. Take Exit #212B for Speer Blvd. towards Downtown. Turn Left onto N. Speer Boulevard. Afterwards, turn Right on Auraria Parkway and go west to 9th Street.
