Route description
This hike leads you along Sankenbach river, which you follow until you reach Sankenbachsee lake. Following the helpful marks to find your way, you continue over Karwand and past Sankenbach waterfall, to the mountain hut Wasserfall Hütte, and the town of Kniebis, where you can take a break. On your way back you descend to Ellbachsee lake, past another mountain hut. You can now choose between the adventure path, where you need a rather safe step, or to just keep following the official signs for the regular trail. Hike past the ski jump and around Höferköpfle to get back to your starting point.
