Route description
From the cable car station Schlick2000 you'll first be cycling on asphalt and then continue straight onwards on a forest path. Turn right in the direction of the middle station Froneben (don't cycle towards Vergör). The way starts to get steeper here, but the reward for the cyclists will be revealed after 1.8 km (1.1 miles): the Panorama lake. From there you can also have a detour to alp Schlickeralm. The tour will otherwise lead towards alp Galtalm, the highest point of the tour. From there trail via the Bruggeralm passing the middle station until you arrive back at the starting point.
Interesting facts
- You're traveling a distance of 12 km on this moderate trail. The bike trail is therefore not too long. Average length of all bike Trails in Tyrol is 35 km.
- If you get hungry along the way, there are places to rest and get food. Nevertheless it’s recommended to also have enough water and food in your backpack when hiking or biking.
Getting here
By car
Coming from Innsbruck take Brennerautobahn A13 (Europe bridge). Take exit Schönberg and continue to Fulpmes. From Fulpmes follow the signs towards the cable car station Schlick2000. Car parks are provided.
By public transport
In Innsbruck you can also catch a bus or the Stubaitalbahn taking you directly to Fulpmes.
