Route description
This is an extended sightseeing tour through the city of Augsburg. The tour is also popular with runners, and leads along several sights, such as the puppet theatre museum 'Die Kiste', the textile museum, and Siebentischwald. The latter is a recreational area in the middle of the city, and offers a nice change to the city centre. The route also leads along river Lech, combining all the beauties of Augsburg's old town into one walk.

- Hiking boots are not required, but the hike might be more enjoyable with sturdy footwear (especially in wet conditions). If you get hungry along the way, there are places to rest and get food. Nevertheless it’s recommended to also have enough water and food in your backpack when hiking or biking.
