In- and outdoor swimming pools Bühl

The Schwarzwaldbad Bühl is a combined indoor and outdoor pool in the Baden town of Bühl on the western edge of the Black Forest. With 3 indoor and 6 outdoor pools totalling over 2,000 square metres of water, it offers year-round bathing fun for all ages. The generous outdoor area boasts lovely views of the Black Forest. Access is barrier-free, with accessible changing rooms and facilities.

Indoor Pool: Lengths All Year Round

The indoor pool is open from mid-September to mid-May and features a 25-metre swimmer's pool (26–28 °C), a non-swimmer's pool (26–28 °C, depth 1–1.35 m) and a cosy toddler pool at 30 °C. A swim channel leads to the heated outdoor bubble pool, which stays open year-round. The warmth hall with a separate rest area offers a service station with drinks and snacks. A modern solarium invites you to top up your tan.

Outdoor Pool: 50-Metre Pool and Diving Tower

In the warm months — mid-May to mid-September — the outdoor pool opens with its 50-metre swimmer's pool (22–24 °C), a 25-metre non-swimmer's pool and a diving platform with a 5-metre tower. A 49-metre water slide provides speed, and the children's pool features two more slides. For the very youngest, there is a paddling pool with a sun sail.

Sunbathing Lawn, Playground and Birthday Parties

The roughly 2.3-hectare sunbathing lawn with Mediterranean flower beds and shady trees invites relaxation. A large playground with two wooden ships and a beach volleyball court complete the outdoor offering. Birthday parties can be celebrated at the Schwarzwaldbad. Early birds can swim on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30 am.

Classes and Refreshments

Regular swimming courses for children and adults as well as fitness and aqua gymnastics classes are on offer. A kiosk in the indoor pool and catering in the outdoor area take care of refreshments.
