Highlights of the tour
Tennerhof is one of the first hotels in Kitzbühel. Tennerhof's history reaches back to 1416. From an estate it turned into an hotel after World War II in possession of the current owner's grandmother, who took over the property in 1929 and started business after the war. From a 3 star hotel it turned into a 4 star hotel in the 60s and in 2000 finally to a 5 star deluxe hotel.
Another highlight is the view from the suburb back towards city center. From there you can admire Kitzbühel's hotel and mansion architecture. At Bauernhaus Museum Hinteroberau you can experience authentic life on a salzburg/tirol farm. You can discover various adjoining buildings and tools. The farm house opens daily from june 1st- sept. 30th , 1pm-5pm.
