Route description
This hike takes to the most famous mountains of the Dolomites: the Three Peaks. From the hut Locatelli/Drei Zinnen Hütte you have a breathtaking view of the north wall and maybe you can also see some climbers.
The hiking tour starts at the Valley of Landro from the View of the Three Peaks. There you have for the first time an unforgettable, view of the north face of the Three Peaks. The path no. 102 goes in eastbound direction through the Valley of Rienza. The path continue to the Wildgrabenjoch and on the serpentine up the valley, through mountain pines and on stone steps, to the grassy Rienzboden. From there it continues on the easy way to the Mountain Hut Locatelli/Drei Zinnen.

- You're traveling a distance of 5 miles on this strenuous trail. The hike is therefore not too long. Average length of all hikes in South Tyrol is 7 miles.
- You're facing an uphill climb of 945 vertical meters on this hike. The high point of the hike is located at an elevation of 7703 ft.

- Sturdy hiking boots are recommended on this track. If you get hungry along the way, there are places to rest and get food. Nevertheless it’s recommended to also have enough water and food in your backpack when hiking or biking.
