Starting at the parking lot walk right passed the chapel Schleifmühlenkapelle and turn right at the first junction to the ravine Schleifmühlenklamm. After starting off plain the path gets steadily steeper after passing the old mill Schleifmühle and leads up to the waterfalls. Continue over the different steep tracks and enjoy the incredible waterfalls and little pools that form underneath them. At the end of the ridge a bridge leads across a huge waterfall, enjoy that incredible natural spectacle. Now turn right passed former mills and hike upwards. After a short time you will reach a junction at a bridge where you can choose which way you want to go. We went to the left. It follows an approximately 1,5 km long steep ascent on rocky roads. At the end of that road continue on a forest road into valley Langenthal. At the end of the valley keep left and continue walking up. You will have a great view on the mountains, the alps and grazing cows. Finally at the top reward yourself with a meal at Pürschlinghaus and enjoy the view on germany's highest mountain namely Zugspitze. Afterwards take the same way back to the parking lot.
