Description
Fans of high speed find a new and exciting attraction in Ruhpolding: Chiemgau Coaster. The rail-guided ride reaches up to 40 km/h (24.9 mph). You can control your own speed with a modern magnetic brake system. Thanks to plexiglass hoods, the toboggan can be used even in rain and during the winter.
The ride is 1,100m/3,609ft long and very diverse, with 14 waves, 2 spins, 7 steep turns, 3 jumps, and 5 bridges. Up to 2 people can go in a toboggan together. Children can ride by themselves from the age of 8, and if they are at least 1.40m/4'7'' tall. To ride with a chaperone, children must be at least 4 years old.
How to get there
The toboggan ride is located right at the entry to Ruhpolding, coming from Traunstein state road. Car parks are available at Chiemgau Coaster's base station.
