Route description
This hiking tour which leads on the Monte Calvo/Golfen our offers a wonderful view over the Dolomites.
The starting point of the hiking tour is the Gasthof Kurter in Franadega/Frondeigen. From there the path no. 24 passes at the maso "Stalper" and goes on a moderate steep path until the forest border. From here continues on a large mountain ridge until the summitcross.

- You're traveling a distance of 5 km on this strenuous trail. The hike is therefore not too long. The average length of all hikes in South Tyrol is 12 km.
- Elevated between 1,651 m and 2,475 m, the hike is among the 15 highest elevated hikes in Italy. You're facing an uphill climb of 824 vertical meters on this hike.
- Make sure to bring sturdy footwear on this track. Hiking boots are highly recommended. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.
