Route description
You start at the tourist information in Flachau. You pass the cafe in the village, bike over the bridge and continue to the left towards the miniature golf site. Follow the signs on the bike trail alongside the river Enns towards Altenmarkt. After 6.9km (10mi) turn left (attention!) over the level crossing to Eben im Pongau. Bike until Eben and through it. At 10,2km (6.6mi) please turn right towards Filzmoos. Then follow the paved road towards Filzmoos and turn left at 16.1km (10 mi) towards Neuberg. Continue on that road until Talschluss and turn right after 17.5km (10,9 mi) at the crotch. Slowly but steady ascending the road leads towards Aualm. At the saddle Marcheggsattel at 22,3km (13,8mi) turn left towards the mountain hut Rettenegghütte. After 25,3km (15,7 mi) -Marcheggsattel- turn left again. After 26,3km (16,3mi) the path opens out into a paved road on which you turn left towards Hofalmen. Until you reach the point to turn around you will be biking uphill.
To descend take the paved road towards Filzmoos. From there leave the roundabout at its first exit towards Eben. Then continue downhill on the country road towards Eben. Shortly before you reach Eben at 45,4km (28,2mi) turn left towards Altenmarkt. From Altenmarkt-Sinnhub- take the biking path called Ennsradweg and follow the signs to Flachau, where you started the tour.
Where to eat
As the name of the tour already reveals, you will not have to suffer hunger or thirst thanks to the courtesy of the "Hofalmen" and the "Aualm".

- There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.

by car
You can reach Flachau easily via the A10 Tauern motorway (exit 66). The car you can leave at the parking space directly in the center of Flachau, nearby the BBF-Center.
by public transport
With the "Sportwelt-Bus" you get to the bus station "Flachau Ortsmitte". From there you can start with your biking tour. You need to inform the bus driver if you want to take your bike with the bus.
