Route description
Amazing roadbike tour on light traffic roads to Filzmoos. If there is an idyllic tour, then it is this. From Flachau of Eben and continue the federal highway to the city center of Filzmoos. At the roundabout take the second exit and the road to the valley end, follow the Hofalmen. A stop at one of the two pastures is essential. The overlooking to the Bischofsmütze and the dreamlike Almpanorama is unforgettable.
Start at the tourist office Flachau – follow the mainstreet in direction to the roundabout at the beginning of Flachau – straight on (2nd exit) into the Gemeindestraße to Reitdorf – after the municipal office turn right in direction to Altenmarkt – after the highway underground at km 5 turn left – pass the ski company Atomic and at the hotel Kesselgrub turn left – after the crossing turn left in direction to Eben – after you passed the center in Eben you follow the way to Filzmoos till you reach the center of Filzmoos – take the 2nd exit in the roundabout and follow the road in direction to the head valley and the Hofalmen – constant rise to the highest point of the tour (Hofalmen) – same route back to Flachau

As the name of the tour already reveals, you will not have to suffer hunger or thirst thanks to the courtesy of the "Hofalmen".

- There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.

Getting here
by car
You can reach Flachau easily via the A10 Tauern motorway (exit 66). The car you can leave at the parking space directly in the center of Flachau, nearby the BBF-Center.
by public transport
With the "Sportwelt-Bus" you get to the bus station "Flachau Ortsmitte". From there you can start with your biking tour. You need to inform the bus driver if you want to take your bike with the bus.
